We’re known for our great weather and abundance of wildlife and have several great places to enjoy both! Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum features a 105-foot tall tower and a light that can be seen from 24 nautical miles at sea. The venue has several exciting exhibits, including Tindall Pioneer House. The house is the earliest house still existing in Jupiter, FL, and is furnished using items from the on-site museum. The Outstanding Natural Area is home to 25 special-status species and has a hiking trail leading to a lagoon overlook. Don’t forget your camera to capture the outstanding views.
Jonathan Dickinson State Park offers breathtaking views and over 10,000 acres with various natural habitats. You can enjoy guided horseback riding, camping, kayaking, and more. The park is also home to the Elsa Kimbell Environmental Education & Research Center, which offers many activities and interactive exhibits. You can also spend a day exploring Busch Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is free to visit and offers a nature trail and a discovery center with things to occupy visitors of all ages.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite, stop by Brick & Barrel Gastro Pub for brunch or dinner. They offer charcuterie, salad, sandwiches, house cut fries and of course, seafood. Finish off your meal with a specialty cocktail or craft beer. The Twisted Tuna is another family-friendly option offering bar snacks, including calamari and stuffed scallops and a variety of margaritas. Kids eat free on Wednesdays, and The Twisted Tuna uses many locally sourced ingredients, and gluten free options. Stop in on Susi Sunday for $1 sushi rolls!
